Regional Tourist

Bhutan has no fixed any rates/tariff for regional tourist, that is Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian. They can obtain a visa without any charges at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with an international validity of minimum 6months (Indian Nationals can use their voters Identity Card). The tourist tariff/cost for regional guest is we will work on it based on tour packages you select. Entry into Bhutan Can be made by through Air/Surface Transport. Druk Air & Bhutan Airlines are the only airlines operating into Bhutan. It operates regular flights to/from Paro (Bhutan) to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Gaya, Bagdogra, Gawahati, (India). The only international airport in Bhutan is in Paro, it’s advisable to book your air tickets in advance to avoid rush in Tourist reason. By Surface: It is possible to entry Bhutan through surface transports, By Phuentsholing (Bhutan south - west border town to India). We do Pick-up/Drop from Bagdogra Airport (IXB), New Japaiguri Rly Station (NJP), New Alipurdaur Rly Station, Hashimara Rly station & Siliguri.. We can also entry Bhutan through Samdrup Jongkher (Bhutan south-eastern border town to India) and Gelephu (southern Bhutan border town to India). Entry Permit: Indian Nationals travelling to Bhutan do not require visa. • An identity document such as Passport OR Election commission I.D cards only accepted • Two Nos of latest passport size photographs. • Students such as School/College I.D card only accepted • Minor & child such as Original Birth certificate only accepted An affidavit letter from Supreme Court is needed for those who fail and don’t have any of the above documents.

For you information, tourist tariff is set up by Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan. The Tourism policy from the beginning to avoid the negative impacts that mass tourism could have a small country like Bhutan.
