Jumolhari loop trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan.It has a wide range of landscape with altitude differences of 2500m and nearly 5000m.It is unspoiled and most beautiful in the entire Himalayas.The speciality of this trek is the beautiful views of Mount Jumolhari from Jumolhari base camp(Jangothang).The suitable season for this trek is April-June, Sept-Nov. It begins from Drugyel dzong at Paro passing through beautiful villages. you will come across the place where yak herders graze their animals. Trout fishing in the lake will be one of the activities. And also you will come across the blue sheep and snow leopards.

Punakha Winter Trek

This trek is possible throughout the winter unlike other trekking. It is basically the old walking route from Thimphu to Punakha.The best season is from Sept-May and its elevation is about 3400.This is a short and easy trek through Punakha.The trail covers thousand meters in range but the slopes are mostly gradual and with less difficulty for hikers. This trek follows the old foot trail from Thimphu to Punakha and it passes through several villages, forest and paddy fields. It offers incredible views of phajoding monastery and crosses through Sinchula pass. Hikers will be camping near chorten Ningpo,an ancient chorten linked to Bhutan’s favorite patron saint, the Divine Madman Lama Drukpa kuenley.Due to low and warm climate of the area ,this hike is available all winter but the best times will between March-Sept-Nov.

Samtengang Winter Trek

Samtengang winter trek is a journey from Punakha to Wangdi Phodrang Dzongkhag.The altitude ranges between 1100-1900m and climate is warm throughout the hike. The path is throughout the forests of rhododendron and oak through the villages of Sha and Chungsakha and across the longest bridge in Bhutan. The best time for this trekking is between March-April and September-October. The trip is about 54km in length with the maximum elevation of 1830m.

Duer Hotspring Trek

One of the most challenging treks in the land of Bhutan is the Duer Hot Springs trek, which partially cross roads with Snowman trek which is ideally the most difficult trekking track in the whole world.It ranges from 3000 meters to 4700 meters, the track moves through multiple difficulties, steep heights and low descents. However after this bone breaking challenge the sight of Duer Hot springs is indeed a reward. The best season is March-April, October- November.
