Like all Tshechu in Bhutan,the Thimphu Tshechu is not simply a festival conducted for entertainment but it is a series of scared events beautifully choreographed to promote happiness yet with the intent to ultimately cultivate an enlightened mind in all attendees.During the festival, thousands of people gather at a stadium just north of the main Tashicho Dzong.
